Focus on Your Own Sh*t: How to Manage Feedback

FOCUS ON YOUR OWN SH-T

Today I launched my first ever Periscope video… about managing Feedback.

Follow me on Periscope for new live videos

What should you do when EVERYONE has something to say about your project?

What feedback should you take & what feedback should you throw out?

Well here are a few pro-tips:

  1. Weigh real (preferably paying) user feedback more than friend/ investor feedback
  2. Disagreeing opinions shouldn’t stop you from launching this thing…
  3. Create a clear process to organize & evaluate everyone’s thoughts

Now, I have a specific process I follow for organizing my feedback & I talk about it in this Periscope video.

If you want a copy of the spreadsheet template I use for managing feedback, send me a text…

(Text the word “FeedbackPlan” to 44222) & I’ll send you the template I use!

plus, I’ll also send you a link to some awesome articles about managing feedback… in case you’re ever in a ‘mentor whiplash’ crisis!

  6. Hey Tara, My name is Mykel Spencer I am eleven years old in the 6th grade. Me and my mom where watching Ted-Ed one day and we saw you, and me and my mom were interested because we have started a family business and we needed a website. I know how to code but sometimes its hard and people need a shortcut. We watched your video and then my mom was mind blown. We started to look more into your work and we were satisfied with your work when we saw your app for art. Personally you have inspired our family to excel our education as normal individuals to show that we can do anything. Also my dad made Facebook video that over 500 people that he didn’t know watched. HIs name is Aaron Spencer and we would really appreciate it if you watched that video.

P.S. the business is called nussentials please look into it and thank your for inspiring our family. also this is under my moms email and stuff.
